At Last, Two Organizations Committed to the Preservation of PTFs

I have received many emails about "what can be done to save these boats." Although we have created an organization that provides the tax benefits a large donor would expect and the legal structure necessary to setup a corporation to save the remaining PTFs, as well as many other Vietnam Era patrol boats we never got the cash raised to get one.

Many of you readers have made your "connections" and "talents" available for such a preservation cause. Combatant Craft of America, Inc. (CCOA) was formed effective February 2, 2001 as an IRS approved 501C-3 organization, allowing all donors to make tax deductible contributions. I am happy to report we did find a boat, but not a PTF.
