Have just found your site recently.
My tour in Vietnam was in the navy and stationed at DaNang. Our group was USNADMACVSOG,
and we ran the PT boats from our camp by the deep water piers on the other side of the bay from Danang. My job was in the electronics area and did not get to go on the boats very much.
Our barracks were at the base of Monkey Mountain next to a fairly large navy base. Your pictures seem very similar to our piers/PT boats and recreation beach. My time was 1967/1968.
