My father, Mark Tondel, was having problems with his scanner and asked me to email you a photo of his PT boat he was on in Vietnam. The picture is of the PTF-3 off Subic Bay during training in 1964 just before deploying to Da Nang, Vietnam.   jpg (71944 bytes)
He also wanted you to know that he has more pictures plus some of the DaNang area that he will get to you later when the scanner is working again.

Thanks,
Tim Tondel

You can't imagine the thrill to finally find someone that new about our PTFs. I have searched the webs with very little success.

I was  ET3 on the PTF-3 when we first started back in Norfolk. The first two boats were the PTF-3 &4. I would like to find out any info you might have on them and any info on any of my crew mates should you have that.

Thank you so much.
Yours
